North Carolina State Legislators Endorse HBOT for Veterans

Both the House and Senate unanimously voted in support of treating North Carolina's veterans with hyperbaric oxyen therapy for symptoms related to post concussion/TBI and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.)  Military personnel view their state's support of HBOT a big push toward a positive direction as many veterans have not been responsive to traditional forms of treatment, centering mainly around the use of prescribed medication to mask symptoms.  Suicide levels remain high among this population of veterans.  CBS television news affiliate WNCT9 recently interviewed lawmakers and reported:    N.C. law opens up alternative therapy to veterans with PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury HBOT for PTSD
